As you know, I originally bought a carpet from one of your competitors, it was lowest priced carpet they sold, and it looked cheap as well, but it was all I could afford to buy from them. The carpet I wanted was way beyond my price range, so I had to settle for the cheapest carpet they had.

“A few months ago, we went to a home show and were lucky enough to come across a booth where Don Lovato had his flooring displays. We told him that we were planning to replace a portion of the carpet in our home with wood floor. He told us he could do that and asked us to give him a call when we were ready. We were very impressed with his friendly courteous manner.
“A few weeks ago, we decided to give him a call. We made an appointment for him to come and give us an estimate. Since he does business out of his van, he bought all his samples and we ordered a beautiful oak floor. I hate to admit this, but at the last minute I changed my mind and decided that I would rather have tile instead of wood.
“Although the wood floor had already been ordered and was in the process of bein g delivered, Don was willing to work with us. He was very professional, courteous, and helpful. He said his crew could also install tile. Not only did he return the wood floor that we ordered, but he immediately started working to match our existing tile. “He gave us the phone number of his installers and the day after the tile arrived, they came to install it – the job was done in 2 days. “Approximately 4 to 5 weeks ago, my hubsand and I (Larry and Carol Marshall), saw Carpet Source’s ad in the magazine. We made appointment with Mr. Don Lovato, to come to our home and measure for new installation of our carpet. He arrived with his samples, and measured the home, was very friendly, very knowledgeable on his product and very helpful to help us pick out carpet. Was very nice to have the samples and the measurement brought to our home.
“After our conversation, we let Mr. Don Lovato know we would get back with him. In the meantime we contacted two of the Big Box companies that sell carpet, made appointments to have a measure done. One of the people that was to do the job, called two days later and when I picked up the phone, on the other end was a man saying, “I am going to be at your house between 2 and 4 today to measure see you then” and hung up on me! I was astonished at the procedure this company used to set up my appointment.
“Then when he arrived, there was no personality, no talking between he and I, and no explanation of how carpet was to be done. I explained to him about the large items to be moved, his response to me was “I have a [sleep]number bed too” and dropped it at that. Needless to say, we were not impressed with him, nor did his company receive a order from us for carpet.
“Then couple days later Big Box #2 company called to set appointment, his response, was I can’t arrive on Thursday [as scheduled], but will on Friday about 1 pm. When he arrived, his personality was OK, not great, but at least we could ask questions, and he answered them, the last thing he said to us, was do you want to see where the seams will be in the carpet? my response was yes. After showing me this, he said nothing. I had to ask him when he would be faxing the drawing of our rooms to the Big Box store #2 company, and his response was, might can do it Saturday and if not will do it on Monday. Needless to say I had to call the company to see if they had received it as of Monday. [The] answer, was nothing has been given to me yet.
“Well after this experience, Larry and I, said we will try to get them to fit their price within our budget, of course they could not, they were $700 more than Carpet Source. So we then in turn called Mr. Don Lovato, and he was ready and willing to come back to our home, the same day, and write up our contract, accept our monies for down payment, and was once again very polite, very helpful in writing the contract, and even gave me the name of the installer to call and schedule the install of the carpet.
“Just want you to know, you do have a great person working for your company, that takes care of his customer’s and we are very thankful that we chose Carpet Source USA. We will also e-mail you after the job is finished and let you know how the installer re-acted with us. Thanks Mr. Don and your Company for a job well done! Our pleasure doing business with your company, and I will be more than happy to let anyone know about Carpet Source USA if they are needing Carpet. Thanks again!”
